'Global Hit of the Year' goes to BTS at the 2022 MTV Millennial Awards

 

In two of the 36 categories for the 2022 MTV Millennial Awards, BTS received nominations.

BTS, a South Korean boy band, scored another achievement to their resume after taking up the top prize at the MTV Millennial 2022 Awards on Monday.

With their rendition of My Universe by Coldplay feat., the septet made up of RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook won the awards for "Global Hit of the Year" and "K-Pop Dominance."

The band received nominations for two of the awards' 36 categories in Latin American music.

Although the band did not attend the celebration, they extended their love and appreciation to their Latino fans.

South Korean boy band, meantime, declared in June that they would be taking a hiatus. The band announced to their fans that they would be pursuing solo projects over a live-streamed dinner honouring their anniversary.

J-Hope, a band member, recently released the lead single from his eagerly anticipated solo album Jack In The Box, Arson.
