With a Disney Content Agreement that Includes a Documentary and Concert Film, More From BTS's "Yet to Come"

V from BTS will appear on the travel reality programme In the Soup: Friendcation with other Korean celebrities.

The BTS Army will continue to see their favourite members in new shows and media owing to a new arrangement with Disney, even though BTS is taking a hiatus to concentrate on their solo projects.

BTS, which consists of Jungkook, V, Jimin, Suga, Jin, J-Hope, and RM, will be releasing a docuseries, a concert film, and a reality show with Disney for fans, according to Billboard. The news was made public on Tuesday by the group's management company, HYBE.

One of the band's four sold-out performances during their stop on the BTS: Permission to Dance on Stage tour late last year at Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium will be included in the concert movie.

According to Jessica Kam-Engle, Disney's APAC head of programming, "We are excited to be working with HYBE to showcase their original entertainment made with compelling artist IP on our worldwide streaming services, including Disney+." This partnership exemplifies our creative vision to work with well-known content producers and prominent figures in Asia Pacific so that mainstream audiences may experience their skills in a variety of ways. We anticipate adding additional music content to our service and hope that these new titles will enthral consumers everywhere.

The group's documentary BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star, which is scheduled to broadcast in 2019, will explore the boys' "amazing journey" to becoming "21st century pop icons."

According to a statement from Disney to Billboard, "With unprecedented access to a massive library of music and footage over the previous nine years, the series will feature the daily lives, ideas, and goals of BTS members, as they prepare for their second chapter."

In the Soup: Friendcation, a travel reality programme featuring BTS's V and other Korean celebrities like Parasite's Woo-shik Choi, ZE:A member Hyung-sik Park, and Korean TV actor Seo-jun Park as they go on a vacation together, is also included in the agreement, according to Deadline.

According to Park Ji-won, CEO of HYBE, "This will be the beginning of a long-term relationship where we give worldwide audiences a wide selection of HYBE material for fans who adore our music and performers." With its unrivalled brands and platforms, "The Walt Disney Company has a long history of franchise-building and promoting musical artists."

The band recently marked the anniversary of the creation of their Army audience with sweet homage to their followers before announcing their agreement with Disney.

"We had a lot of good times together. I'm very grateful we have the chance to go back on our memories in this way. Whether close by or distant, I felt that via singing and dance, we were deeply connected," read their statement. "Every minute we had with you was a time of our own. We feel really fortunate to have shared in your tale. I sincerely want to collaborate with you on more stories in the future.

Proof, a new anthology compilation from their docuseries BTS that has three brand-new songs and a few unheard demos, was just published. BTS stated they were not breaking up, but that the members would be taking time off to work on solo projects and other creative ventures. The album was released right before the band revealed they would be taking a sort of sabbatical. Jungkook and J-Hope have both already released solo songs, the latter of which features Charlie Puth. J-solo Hope's album, Jack in the Box, will be available starting on July 15.
