Pakistani passports were ranked fourth worst out of 199.
Despite the fact that Pakistan has successfully reinvented itself as one of the world's top tourism destinations, Pakistanis face difficulties obtaining visas to various countries around the world.
According to a new quarterly analysis released by the UK-based global citizenship and residence advice business Henley & Partners, Pakistanis have the fourth poorest passport out of 199 countries assessed.
Pakistani passport holders can only enter 32 countries visa-free or via visa-on-arrival.
It is worth mentioning that, despite friendly relations with the Middle East, only Qatar provides visas on arrival to Pakistanis, while the rest of the area maintains a severe visa issuance process.
Even a long-standing friendship with the red dragon could not provide visa-free travel to China, our neighbouring economic behemoth.
Our eastern neighbour, India, and our northern neighbour, Tajikistan, are both ranked 87 on the same global ranking.
