Mandana recently posted a video to Instagram showing her shopping in Istanbul. The actress was wearing a burqa, so that was probably all part of the shoot. She was seen dancing in the video, and for a brief period, she was joyfully twerking .As was to be expected, the video received a tonne of controversy, and many people criticised the Lock Upp actress for allegedly "disrespecting" their religion .The actress later removed the video from her Instagram profile.

The hatred has prompted Mandana Karimi to respond. She uploaded a mirror selfie on her Instagram story. And of course reading comments on my burka reel," the writing above it said. People are insane, and the world is wild. I want to be a unicorn when I'm done.
