Brad Pitt, who lost a legal battle against his ex-wife in their intensely personal dispute over the Chateau Miraval vineyard, is said to be still upset about their breakup.
According to sources close to Jolie, Pitt is still upset about splitting with the actress, according to Page Six.
According to the sources, "Any reasonable person would be pleased for Stoli to [be a partner in their business]."
Pitt has been working tirelessly on the stunning structures and gardens of the famed rosé company since since the couple moved into the chateau that sits on its Provençal vineyard in 2008.
"Their marketing and distribution are excellent. He simply is unable to get past his dislike of Jolie.
According to the sources, "[their parents'] full ownership of this rising in value and expanding asset is the best method to retain value for [their kids]."
However, Pitt, Jolie, their individual firms, and several business partners became embroiled in a complex web of lawsuits in the US, France, and Luxembourg after Jolie sold her investment to the world's largest producer of alcoholic beverages, Stoli.
A Los Angeles judge rejected Brad Pitt's team's motion to forbid the exchange of business email and documents with Angelina Jolie's legal counsel. It's another exchange in an ongoing conflict over ownership of the Château Miraval winery and the never-ending divorce of the former power couple.
When the couple moved into the main villa in 2008, they took over the business, which is well known for its rosé. The two got hitched in 2014 in Correns, France, which is located about an hour's drive east of Aix-en-Provence.
